Amongst the different religions there are : -

CHRISTIANITY - 2039 million followers - 32% of the worlds population

Christianity like Islam has a few different types of groups practicing it with varying laws.

ISLAM - 1570 million followers - 22% of the worlds population

HINDUISM - 950 million followers - 13% of the worlds population

BUDDHISM - 350 to 1600 million followers - 6% of the worlds population

(no exact amount of followers known due to certain countries lack of freedom of speach)  

ATHEISTS - 150 million followers - 2% of the worlds population

SIKHISM - 23.8 million followers - less than 1% of the worlds population

JUDAISM - 14.5 million followers - less than 1% of the worlds population

WICCA - 0.5 million followers - less than 1% of the worlds population
