VOLKSBIKE 'V2' BUILD

PART 3 - CRC Speedshow - 16th - 17th July 2016


3rd Place Unfinished Project	V3 Volksbike 'Powerslave"

Below is the sort of work that goes into one of my 'over the top' displays. This particular display incorporated last years 'V2' Salvage Wagon that had been seriously revamped and won the Kumeu Hot Rod Show 2016 with additions brand new for the CRC Speedshow 2016 in 'V4' Volkstrailer to complement 'V2' and also 'V3' Volksbike. Along with those were 2 new manaquins and my side project 'Cyborg Sabre Tooth Tiger' thrown in for good measure. With the help of my 2 teenage daughters, it took us about 5 hours to set this up, not including a hours travel each way from home in 2 vehicles and a trailer. Everything you see down to the crowd barrier posts were made by myself from scrap that I collected at work or on old VW Beetle restoration projects. This display is not everyones cup of tea but pretty much most people like and appreciate it for what it is. I don't spend tens of thousands of dollars on paintwork and polishing but I do spend probably the same amount time building and designing these creations and being as I do ALL the work from gearboxes, engine rebuilds to fabrication and design, I pretty much can say they are unique sole creations from start to finish. How many other people can say that (I know there are a few so credit to you)

27 - Disaster - broke V3's riders leg in half in transport	28 - Quick operation required. I'm ready for ANYTHING :-)
